Looks like I’m in good company in this month’s edition of Good Housekeeping Magazine.
Thank you to the publication and to journalist Claire O’Boyle for covering my story in this lovely feature Learning to Live and Love Again.
It’s about confronting death and embracing life again after my childhood sweetheart and late husband, John passed away to pancreatic cancer almost three years ago.
It’s also about how my Friendship 50 Challenge helped me get by with more than a little help from my friends. You know who you are, and I appreciate and love you all.
Many of you will also know, I’ve recently talked about this at TEDx Stormont saying ‘Yes’ to life after bereavement. It’s a subject close to my heart and part of John’s legacy. I hope my lived experience can help other people going through difficult times. Images thanks to @goodhousekeepingUK and @Colettecreative. Collette O’Neill
My story is featured in Good House Keeping’s May edition available now.
